Randy Orton has revealed that he is an avid Elden Ring fan and has invested approximately 600 hours in FromSoftware's open-world fantasy RPG.
During an appearance on Cody Rhodes' What Do You Want to Talk About series, Orton spoke about fellow wrestling superstar John Cena's appearance in Mortal Kombat 1. Cena had jokingly mocked Rhodes for playing games, and now Orton has joined the ranks of gamers.
Orton commented: "I don't know if you still play games, I used to laugh at you for playing games."
Ross countered: "Yeah, now it's your turn, Elden Ring?"
"Oh, I fucking love Elden Ring, Cody. I've been... I don't even know what to say. Remember, this game has been out for... six, seven, eight months, whatever February is, it's been out for three years. And, let me just say, I had spinal fusion surgery, so I've got a lot of time on my hands. I've played it for, like, 600 hours."
Rhodes is a fan of The Legend of Zelda and has worn Zelda's Triforce boots in battles in the ring. However, he has yet to play Elden Ring.
"Elden Ring" will be released on PS5, PS4, PC, Xbox Series X/S and Xbox One platforms in February 2022.
