On the afternoon of August 16, the first International Cooperation Salon of New Productivity of the Global Innovation Service Network (GNIS) in Beijing, co-organized by the Beijing Overseas Scholars Center and the Haidian District Talent Work Bureau, was successfully held at the Zhongguancun National Independent Innovation Demonstration Zone Exhibition and Trading Center. Scientific and technological talents and entrepreneurs from home and abroad gathered together to have in-depth exchanges on "New Productivity and Technological Innovation in a Global Perspective", contributing wisdom and strength to promote the development of science and technology economy and promote the resonance of youth innovation with the world's technological frontier.
Ji XunmingAt the first salon, well-known experts and scholars including Ji Xunming, academician of the Chinese Academy of Engineering, member of the Chinese Academy of Medical Sciences, and vice president of Capital Medical University, David Ferguson, honorary English editor-in-chief of the Foreign Languages Press of China Foreign Languages Publishing Administration and winner of the China Government Friendship Award, and Long Guilu, professor at Tsinghua University and vice president of the Beijing Institute of Quantum Information Science, respectively interpreted the essence, current situation, challenges and measures of the development of new-quality productivity in the new era focusing on research fields such as life and health, innovation and development, and quantum information.
Long GuiluDuring the "Round Table Discussion" session, researchers and entrepreneurs in the fields of artificial intelligence and technological innovation exchanged their views on the artificial intelligence innovation ecosystem around topics such as "Pragmatic measures to promote the development of the artificial intelligence industry" and "Key drivers of new quality productivity and the development and challenges of the artificial intelligence industry". They explored ways for the government, enterprises and research institutions to collaborate in promoting the development of the artificial intelligence industry, and jointly discussed ways and means for artificial intelligence to empower new quality productivity.
David FergusonAccording to reports, Beijing Global Innovation Service Network (GNIS) is an international talent connection and exchange cooperation platform jointly initiated and established by Beijing Overseas Scholars Center and domestic and overseas partner institutions under the guidance of Beijing Municipal Bureau of Talent Work. The New Productivity International Cooperation Salon is a high-end think tank academic exchange platform created by GNIS to gather forces from home and abroad, focusing on artificial intelligence, life sciences, hydrogen energy technology and other revolutionary technological innovations.
