The 2024 China International Big Data Industry Expo will be held in Guiyang from August 28 to 30. The annual theme of this Big Expo is "Digital and Intelligent Symbiosis: Creating a New Future for High-Quality Development of the Digital Economy". On the afternoon of August 15, a special dispatch meeting on the preparations for the 2024 Big Data Expo was held at the Guiyang Convention Center, where the heads of various working groups were discussing the relevant preparatory work for this Big Data Expo. In the office area of Zone B of the Guiyang Convention Center, the staff of nine working groups, including the comprehensive coordination group, exhibition group, and guest group, are carrying out their work in an orderly manner. It is reported that this Big Data Expo will mainly hold professional exhibitions, and will simultaneously hold opening (closing) ceremonies, results releases, industry exchange activities, and a series of special activities. At present, the relevant preparatory work has been basically completed and has entered the final stage of checking for deficiencies and implementing them.
Zhao Yan, member of the Party Committee and Deputy Director of the Guiyang Big Data Development and Management Bureau, and Deputy Head of the Comprehensive Coordination Group of the Executive Committee of the 2024 China International Big Data Industry Expo: In terms of guest invitations, so far, more than 1,200 guests have registered to attend the conference; in terms of exhibitions, more than 300 companies have signed up to participate in the exhibition; in terms of results release, ten leading scientific and technological achievements and more than 150 other achievements will be released; in terms of industry exchanges, 26 industry exchange activities will be held around themes such as smart cities and artificial intelligence; in terms of series of activities, more than 20 series of activities such as "Big Data Expo Night Talk" and "Huawei 828 Enterprise Festival" will be held.
The Big Data Expo is a "digital appointment" between Guizhou and the world, and also a "development appointment" between Guizhou and the future. As the world's first expo with big data as its theme, this year's Big Data Expo is hosted by the National Bureau of Statistics for the first time and undertaken by the Guizhou Provincial People's Government. It will focus on exhibition diversity, professional authority, corporate subjectivity, and refined services. By then, this Big Data Expo will also invite industry scholars, industry leaders, and domestic and foreign companies and scientific research institutions to conduct in-depth exchanges and business negotiations to promote the transformation of scientific and technological achievements.
