On August 16, the groundbreaking ceremony for the new bottled draft beer production line and supporting system upgrade and renovation project of Meizhou Zhujiang Beer Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "Meizhou Zhujiang Beer") was held in Guangmei Industrial Park (Meizhou Rongwan Industrial Park). It is reported that the total investment of the project is about 150 million yuan, and it is expected to be completed and put into production next year.

It is understood that Meizhou Zhu Beer is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Guangzhou Zhujiang Beer Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "Zhujiang Beer"), and is the first large state-owned enterprise to settle in Guangmei Industrial Park (Meizhou Rongwan Industrial Park). Since its completion and production in 2012, it has been ranked first in tax payment in Guangmei Industrial Park (Meizhou Rongwan Industrial Park), and won the title of "Top 20" taxpayers in the real economy and "Top 10" taxpayers in the manufacturing industry in Meizhou City, with a total tax payment of more than 500 million yuan. In order to thoroughly implement the specific deployment of the Provincial Party Committee's "1310" and the spirit of the provincial and municipal high-quality development conferences, further accelerate Zhujiang Beer's "Eastward Expansion" strategy, optimize product layout, move towards mid-to-high-end products, and comprehensively improve supply efficiency, Meizhou Zhu Beer has taken firm steps in intelligent manufacturing. After the start of this project, a new 40,000 bottles/hour bottled pure draft beer production line will be added to replace the original 20,000 bottles/hour bottled ordinary beer production line, and the production supporting systems such as saccharification, fermentation, filtration, power, electrical automatic control and energy management systems will be upgraded and renovated.
