In the just-concluded "2024 China Music Golden Bell - The First National Vocal Exhibition", 8-year-old Wuhan girl Li Meiyi won the Vocal Singing Newcomer Award in the Children's Group (Children's Group A) of the China Music Golden Bell.

It is understood that Li Meiyi was selected by Wuhan Little Bear Vocal Art Center. In the performance, she performed four songs, "Yangjinma", "A Line of Egrets Flying to the Blue Sky", "Rap Liyuan" and "Sunset on Hailan River". After two rounds of fierce competition, Li Meiyi finally won the first China Music Golden Bell Singing Newcomer Award.

This competition is hosted by the Chinese Musicians Association, the Publicity Department of the Hebei Provincial Committee of the Communist Party of China, the Hebei Federation of Literary and Art Circles, and the Shijiazhuang Municipal People's Government. It will showcase the latest achievements in my country's vocal education and singing through performances, discover and cultivate outstanding vocal singing talents, provide a platform for young vocal singers to learn, communicate, and display their talents, and guide the healthy and orderly development of vocal art across the country.
