Regarding the regional economy, in his signed article "Investigation and Thinking on High-Quality Development of Regional Economy" published in the 2nd issue of "Audit Watch" in 2019, Zhu Zhongming pointed out that the path of regional economic development in Zhejiang Province is distinctive, with bold decentralization and adherence to the "province-controlled county" fiscal system. Through five consecutive rounds of "strengthening counties and expanding powers", it has strongly supported the rapid development of the regional economy in Zhejiang Province.
