With two pure electric smart buses shuttling on the open road section in the city, Shandong's first intelligent networked coastal demonstration road was built in Yantai. The demonstration road is located in the open coastal section, covering a length of 10km in both directions, and has completed the implementation of products and scenarios such as holographic intersections, intelligent networked cloud control platforms, driverless buses, and intelligent networked precision public transportation. This demonstration road is an important infrastructure for single-vehicle intelligence to enter the era of networked autonomous driving, and it has witnessed Shandong's powerful breakthrough in competing for the new track of intelligent networked vehicles.

At present, Qingdao YTO Express has 10 unmanned express delivery vehicles on the road for trial operation, and SF Express, ZTO Express and others have also begun to compete to join. In addition, community group buying and fresh food delivery have also entered the map collection stage and will soon be on the road.
