More than 100 representatives of young pioneers, counselors, representatives of the party, government, military, police and civilians in Mohe City, and volunteers of the Western Plan from all over Heilongjiang Province participated in the event.

During the solemn flag-raising ceremony, the five-star red flag, which was delivered to space by Shenzhou 18 and Shenzhou 17, was passed by the flag bearer to the outstanding Young Pioneers representatives, and then handed over to the military and police representatives to raise the flag. Accompanied by the majestic national anthem, the five-star red flag carrying special significance rose slowly under the gaze of all personnel and the national anthem sung in unison by the audience.

After the flag-raising ceremony, the Young Pioneers painted and colored the long scroll "Red Scarf Loves the Motherland - The Five-Star Red Flag in My Heart" on the spot, giving the most beautiful colors in their hearts to the motherland. A flash mob activity was simultaneously carried out at the Seven Star Square in Beiji Town, where the Young Pioneers, the choir and the people on the scene sang songs such as "Singing the Motherland" and "In the Far North, My Heart is Towards the Party Central Committee".
It is reported that the flag relay activity is divided into two stages: space relay and ground relay. The flag relayed in the activity entered space on April 25 with the Shenzhou 18 manned spacecraft, and was relayed and displayed in orbit in the Chinese space home. It returned to Earth on April 30 with the Shenzhou 17 manned spacecraft. Previously, it had been relayed in Beijing, Tianjin, Hebei, Shanxi, Inner Mongolia, Liaoning, Jilin and other places.
After the event, representatives of young pioneers from all over Heilongjiang Province jointly participated in the "Follow the National Flag to Find the North" - Mohe Station "Lilac Blooms, Children's Harbor" and "Help Hama to Run into the Future" 2024 Heilongjiang Province Hope Project Mini Marathon Finale.
The "Lilac Blooms·Children's Heart Harbor" and "Help the Harbin Marathon to Welcome the Future" 2024 Heilongjiang Province Hope Project Mini Marathon event started on August 9th in 56 "Lilac Blooms·Children's Heart Harbor" project sites in 47 counties (cities and districts) across the province, including Acheng District, Harbin, Beilin District, Suihua, Bamiantong Town, Muling, and Linjiang Community, Fuyuan. More than 2,000 children and teenagers measured their own cities with their footsteps, improving their understanding, knowledge and interest in marathon sports, and promoting the "Quality Improvement Plan" of the Hope Project in the new era.
