A lady from Hubei shared her LOFT home. She used the height of the floor to cut out a glass-enclosed master bedroom, which is big enough for a family of four.

Many LOFT units are small in size and high in height. If you can make use of the vertical space, the decoration is basically half successful. Recently, I saw such a LOFT.

A lady from Hubei (@甜蜜蜜) bought this LOFT not long ago.The floor height is high enough to separate two floors of standing and walking space, which is completely sufficient for a family of four.

In the whole LOFT home, I personally feel that the most noteworthy thing is the partition between the living room and the open-top master bedroom. It is separated by a whole glass wall, which looks transparent and comfortable. Without further ado, let's take a look~

【Large living room space】

After entering the house, the kitchen and bathroom spaces are the same as many LOFT units, so we won’t say much.

Directly opposite, across the staircase is a larger living room with ample space for a sofa, coffee table, and TV wall.

The long sofa is matched with a small round coffee table, which becomes a resting and movie-watching space in the living room. A carpet is placed under the coffee table to divide the living room space. At least it is more than enough for four people in the family.

There is no TV cabinet on the TV wall. Instead, the TV is hung directly on the wall. Some picture frames are placed on the ground instead of the TV cabinet to fill the blank space, which also saves the vertical space depth. I personally feel that this appropriate blank space also appears very comfortable.

【Master bedroom of the glass house】

The mezzanine space above the stairs is different from many mezzanine lofts that serve as open bedrooms. She turned the bedroom into a closed, separate space for the couple to rest and sleep. A curtain may be added behind the glass to block out light and ensure privacy.

Oh yes, the handrails on the stairs are also made of transparent glass handrails, which are similar to the glass partitions on the mezzanine. Both of them can ensure practicality and partition without affecting the transparency and integrity of the space in the home.

The door of the house is also made of external frame + glass door. To be honest, this glass-partitioned bedroom really makes this LOFT mezzanine house eye-catching. At least I really like this simple, clean yet distinctive decoration.

[Make a small skylight by the window]

In order to increase the lighting, a narrow skylight was made at the base of the window near the window. When the blinds are fully opened, light can shine through the narrow glass window into the living room on the first floor, forming a circulation of light.

[Arched window in the second bedroom]

The space opposite the master bedroom is a mirrored bedroom, but it is relatively smaller in size and has no natural windows for lighting. So she opened the window facing the master bedroom and the stairs.

Two children can live here. It can be regarded as a warm little bedroom with bookshelves, wardrobes and desks. It is a good decoration layout.

All in all, I personally like this Hubei lady’s LOFT very much. After taking advantage of the floor height and cutting out a glass partition, it is big enough for a family of four to live in!

I wonder if you guys like this small LOFT?
