Changsha Evening News Changsha on Palm August 16 (All-media reporter Wu Xinfan, correspondent Long Huiling) Recently, the 8th Hunan Provincial Workers' Vocational Skills Competition and the "Intelligent Empowerment of Ten Thousand Enterprises" Digital Application Technology Skills Competition Automobile Repairer (Intelligent Networked New Energy Vehicle) competition was held. Zhu Deyong, a post-95 industrial worker from Changsha County, won the first place and successfully advanced to the national competition. On August 16, when the reporter interviewed Zhu Deyong, he found that as an ordinary maintenance technician who graduated from a junior college, it was precisely because of the continuous updating of his knowledge base and technical capabilities that Zhu Deyong achieved outstanding results in the current rapid changes and development of the automotive industry. And there are many industrial workers like Zhu Deyong in the development of Changsha's new energy vehicle industry.
Three years from seventh to first
On the 16th, the reporter met Zhu Deyong at Changsha Cheyun Science and Education Equipment Co., Ltd. He was tall and thin, wearing glasses and was very polite. He told the reporter that there were 15 teams from the province and nearly 40 contestants participating in the final competition. The auto repairman competition he participated in was divided into three modules, and he needed to conscientiously complete the intelligent networked new energy vehicle scene simulation test, installation and adjustment, and comprehensive road test within the specified time.
"In the competition, vehicle failures are interconnected. If we focus on one of them and follow the clues, we can solve the problems one by one." Zhu Deyong said that during the competition, when he found a fault phenomenon, several possible causes of the fault would immediately emerge in his mind, and combined with the vehicle engine sound, dashboard display and other conditions, he would comprehensively determine the real fault factor and quickly start troubleshooting.
Zhu Deyong's excellent performance is closely related to his rich experience in competitions. In his sophomore year, under the guidance of his school teacher, he participated in the "Chuyi Cup" Hunan Vocational College Skills Competition for the first time, and achieved the best result for the school since the competition.
"I often pay attention to competitions related to my major, and I will participate in any competitions that I can participate in. The most important thing is that I can communicate and exchange ideas with people in the same industry, which is also a great improvement for myself." Zhu Deyong told reporters that in the 7th Hunan Workers' Vocational Skills Competition in 2021, he was the seventh in the event he participated in, and three years later, he has improved to the first place in the event. "Three years of hard work finally paid off."
Bring a blanket and sleep in the car
"I have loved cars since I was a child, and my family also supports me." Zhu Deyong was born in an ordinary rural family in Zhuzhou, Hunan. He has had an infinite love and desire for cars since he was a child. In 2016, Zhu Deyong entered the automobile inspection and maintenance major as he wished. With his passion for automobile technology, his grades have remained the first in the major.
Zhu Deyong got up at 7 a.m., put on work clothes, ran on the playground for half an hour, had a quick meal in 15 minutes, arrived at the training room on time at 8 a.m., and trained until 11 p.m. at night. He told reporters, "Sometimes the fault was not solved and it was very late, so I just slept in the car with a quilt."
After graduation, Zhu Deyong worked at Changsha Cheyun Science and Education Equipment Co., Ltd., and continued his enthusiasm for learning in school into his work.
"At present, we are mainly responsible for coordinating the construction of automobile training rooms in vocational colleges." Zhu Deyong told reporters that with the rapid development of intelligent connected technology, the market share of intelligent connected vehicles has gradually increased. A large number of vocational colleges in the province have upgraded their automobile training rooms to adapt to market development needs.
Against this background, Zhu Deyong started the "two-way running" mode - first rushing to smart connected vehicle manufacturers across the country to learn the latest technologies and get in touch with the latest equipment, and then going to major higher vocational colleges in the province to transport equipment, install and test, and train teachers.
"If the skills are not up to par, big problems will arise, so you must learn them." Zhu Deyong said that in recent years, the speed of equipment updates and iterations has been very fast, so he has been running to manufacturers tirelessly. In the first half of this year, he went to Tianjin four times, "seeking the truth" over and over again. After returning to Changsha, he would use his spare time to go to the training room to consolidate his practice.
Only when you settle down can you shine
In recent years, Changsha has actively seized the important opportunity of new energy, an important outlet for the transformation and upgrading of the automobile industry. In addition to the production lines in the workshops of vehicle and parts companies, a group of technicians and industrial workers have also transformed and upgraded along with the industry. Zhu Deyong is one of them.
"We learned about fuel vehicles in class, but now new technologies are developing very rapidly in the industry, from new energy to autonomous driving, and then to intelligent networking." Zhu Deyong said that some of his friends changed careers to work as clerks and salespeople, and he also felt that he had been eliminated by the industry at one point and fell into confusion.
"Only by adjusting your mindset and settling down in the industry you like can you have the opportunity to shine." Zhu Deyong said that the opportunities in the new track, the joy of overcoming technical difficulties, and the fulfillment of traveling to various places to study have given him the confidence to fully devote himself to the busyness brought about by the transformation.
With solid professional knowledge and rich competition experience, Zhu Deyong has been invited to serve as on-site referee and technical support for competitions many times. He insists on bringing new technical concepts and guidance methods back to Hunan, assisting local colleges and universities to win various awards in the National Vocational Skills Competition.
