In accordance with the requirements and relevant regulations of the "Announcement on the Unified Examination for the Recruitment of Civil Servants in Henan Province in 2024", after written examinations, physical fitness assessments, interviews, physical examinations, and inspections, the Henan Provincial Prison Administration Bureau publicly announced on June 21 the second batch of 11 civil servants to be recruited for the prison system in 2024 (informal recruitment), including recent undergraduate graduates Han and Wang.

According to the requirements of the Announcement, "2024 graduates studying in China should obtain their graduation certificates (degree certificates) before July 31, 2024". In July, after the two candidates obtained their graduation certificates and degree certificates, their colleges and universities transferred their student files. In accordance with the principle of "qualification review throughout the entire process of examination and recruitment", the Henan Provincial Prison Administration Bureau re-examined the relevant materials and recruitment qualifications of the graduates, including Han and Wang, on July 29.

During the review process of Han Moumou, the Henan Provincial Prison Administration Bureau found that there were doubts about his date of birth. On August 1, it conducted further investigation and verification of the relevant circumstances. Based on the investigation results, on August 13, it decided that he did not meet the recruitment qualifications and would not be hired.

During the review process of Wang Moumou, no circumstances that would affect his recruitment were found. Regarding the age issue raised by netizens, the Henan Provincial Prison Administration Bureau will conduct further investigation. If any circumstances that would affect his recruitment are found, his qualification for recruitment will be revoked.
