China Youth Network Luoyang August 16th(Reporter Wang Wentan) Luoyang's peonies are the best in the world, and Luoyang's dark-browed landscapes are the best. On the afternoon of the 15th, the interview team of the online theme event "Why China Walks in Henan" visited the Luoyang Peony Porcelain Museum to explore the origin and development of peony porcelain.
Luoyang Peony Porcelain Museum was built in 2012. It is one of the first eight private museums in Luoyang. It is mainly engaged in the collection, protection and research of peony porcelain and peony culture-related collections.
Luoyang Peony Porcelain uses "high-quality kaolin" as its raw material and "Luoyang Peony" as its prototype. It inherits the traditional Tang Dynasty ceramic production techniques such as "Tang Tri-color Porcelain" and draws on traditional techniques such as carving, hollow flower pinching, decorative engraving, pigment glaze, etc. It is entirely handmade and is known as the "peony that never fades."
