2.59 trillion yuan, Shenzhen's import and export scale hit a new high

According to customs statistics, in the first seven months of this year, Shenzhen's import and export volume was 2.59 trillion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 29.6%, setting a new record for Shenzhen's import and export volume in the same period, ranking first among mainland cities in the same period, accounting for 10.4% and 50.2% of the country and the province respectively. Among them, exports were 1.65 trillion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 32.1%, and imports were 940.5 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 25.5%.

Specific data show that in the first seven months, Shenzhen's private enterprises imported and exported 1.86 trillion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 44.2%, accounting for 71.8% of Shenzhen's total import and export value during the same period (the same below), and the growth rate was 14.6 percentage points faster than Shenzhen as a whole. During the same period, foreign-invested enterprises imported and exported 609.75 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 4.1%, accounting for 23.5%. In the first seven months, Shenzhen's imports and exports in general trade were 1.49 trillion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 41.1%, accounting for 57.7%, and the growth rate was 11.5 percentage points faster than Shenzhen as a whole. During the same period, imports and exports in bonded logistics were 625.32 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 27.8%, accounting for 24.1%; imports and exports in processing trade were 454.03 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 3.9%.
In terms of exports, mechanical and electrical products accounted for more than 60%, and the export growth rate of labor-intensive products was obvious. In the first seven months, Shenzhen exported 1.12 trillion yuan of mechanical and electrical products, an increase of 21%, accounting for 67.8% of Shenzhen's total export value in the same period (the same below). Among them, the "old three" commodities such as mobile phones, automatic data processing equipment (computers), and household appliances were exported for 86.9 billion yuan, 57.4 billion yuan, and 53.96 billion yuan, respectively, up 18.5%, 11.1%, and 35% year-on-year; electronic components were exported for 160.77 billion yuan, up 27.4% year-on-year. During the same period, exports of labor-intensive products were 222.29 billion yuan, up 60.8% year-on-year, accounting for 13.5%. Among them, exports of textiles and clothing were 69.75 billion yuan, up 62.7% year-on-year; plastic products were 7.2 billion yuan, up 17.4% year-on-year.
