Sohu Entertainment News: Recently, the U.S. prosecutors held a press conference to disclose the progress of the investigation into the death of Matthew Perry, the star of "Friends", due to an overdose of ketamine/K powder: five people were prosecuted, two of whom have been arrested. The five people include Perry's live-in assistant, two doctors and a woman known as the "Ketamine Queen". Among them, the "Ketamine Queen" who sold the batch of ketamine that caused Perry's death for 50 small vials at a price of $50,000, and the doctor "Dr. P" who provided a large amount of K powder were arrested. The relevant documents showed the text message that "Dr. P" mocked Perry at the time: "I wonder how much this idiot will pay." Prosecutors said that these defendants are part of a "huge underground criminal network."
The other three are:
Eric Fleming, 54, pleaded guilty on August 8 to one count of conspiracy to distribute ketamine and one count of distribution of ketamine resulting in death, admitting that he distributed the ketamine that caused Perry's death;
Perry's live-in assistant was accused of being an accomplice in illegally obtaining ketamine to supply Perry and injecting him multiple times on the day of his death;
A physician has pleaded guilty to one count of conspiracy to distribute ketamine, admitting to selling ketamine to "Dr. P," including ketamine that he had diverted from his previous clinic.
