Another acquisition of an artificial intelligence company involving hundreds of millions of dollars has landed in Europe.

AMD recently announced that it has completed the acquisition of Silo AI, the largest private AI laboratory in Europe. The acquisition transaction amount is approximately US$665 million (approximately RMB 4.77 billion) and was completed in an all-cash payment.

Silo AI claims on its official website that it is the largest private AI laboratory in Europe.

It is understood that this acquisition is the largest artificial intelligence merger and acquisition case in Europe since Google acquired the British artificial intelligence company DeepMind for 400 million to 650 million pounds in 2014.

In addition, Silo AI is also AMD's latest move to increase its investment in the field of AI through investment and M&A activities.
