On the evening of August 13, the unveiling ceremony of "Tencent Video Boutique Micro-Short Drama Base" and the launching ceremony of "Follow Micro-Short Drama Tour in Linfen" were held in the Laoyan River Ecological Scenic Area of Linfen City.

Zhao Xiaochun, Party Secretary and Director of Shanxi Provincial Radio and Television Bureau, introduced the development situation of the national micro-short drama industry, the characteristics of the Shanxi provincial micro-short drama industry and the progress of this cooperation project. Zhao Xiaochun said that the Shanxi Provincial Radio and Television Bureau will fully promote the construction of the base project, and jointly launch relevant policies with cities, counties (districts) to support upstream and downstream enterprises in the industrial chain of the base, provide full-process tracking guidance and all-round service guarantees in project incubation, production, review and release, distribution and promotion, and build the Linfen base into a unique national micro-short drama base in terms of technical system, presentation content, operation model and audience feedback.
"The establishment of Tencent Video's high-quality micro-short drama base in Linfen not only demonstrates the latest achievements of Linfen's comprehensive quality improvement and acceleration of high-quality development, but also reflects the strategic considerations and firm determination of the Linfen Municipal Party Committee and Municipal Government to 'develop new cultural productivity and build a city of micro-short dramas.'" Yan Jianguo, member of the Linfen Municipal Party Committee and Minister of the Propaganda Department, said that in the next step, Linfen should highlight ideological guidance, establish a strong sense of quality, and use micro-short dramas with ideas, strength, connotation and taste to tell the "Linfen story" well and spread the "Linfen voice."
Li La, deputy general manager of Tencent Online Video's film and television content production department, said that Tencent Video's micro-short dramas look forward to working hand in hand with Linfen City to achieve excellence, integrate and amplify the resource advantages of local cultural tourism and the platform, and jointly create a batch of high-quality micro-short dramas with cultural and historical depth, positive energy and warmth, and a breadth of value delivery.

During the event, Linfen City signed the "Tencent Video Boutique Micro-Short Drama Base Strategic Cooperation Agreement" with Tencent Technology (Beijing) Co., Ltd. and Shanxi Network Audiovisual Program Service Association. Linfen Economic Development Zone, Quwo County, Anze County, and Hongdong County signed cooperation and filming agreements with relevant cultural enterprises respectively. Yaodu District, Hongdong County, Quwo County, Xiangfen County, Anze County, Gu County, Xiangning County, and Ji County became the first batch of micro-short drama shooting bases in Linfen.
