As the only stage design-themed museum in China that integrates design, production, research, exchange, collection and exhibition, the Taihu Stage Art Museum of the National Grand Theater sorts out the entire production process of a play from creativity to performance, and presents the workplace, landscape, exhibition and other contents to the audience through visits.
Yang Xin, the executive director of the event, introduced that whether in terms of the content of the exhibition, the breadth of the exhibition, or the quality of the exhibition, the Taihu Stage Art Museum of the National Grand Theater is at the leading level in the country.
"If I can perform a play on this stage, it will definitely be a pleasure." Hu Yangtiange, a student from the Musical Theatre Performance Department of Shanghai Theatre Academy, said that standing on the 2,550-square-meter stage of Taihu Theater, his yearning for theatrical performance has been further deepened.
From the front of the stage to the back of the stage, the students entered the production workshop exhibition area set up in the stage production workshop and costume production workshop area, and watched the whole process of the staff making stage sets and costumes. During the visit, the students focused on watching the props exhibition of "The Great Journey" and the special exhibition celebrating the 70th anniversary of the founding of Beijing Dance Academy.
This close contact with stage equipment and professional props allows college students to systematically understand theatrical props and scene production techniques.
The outdoor large props exhibition area of Taihu Stage Art Museum is mainly used to display the iconic large props used in national celebrations collected or loaned by the National Grand Theater, which represent the highest level of stage design and production in my country. The open-air exhibition area features the original "snowflake" main torch stand from the opening and closing ceremonies of the 2022 Beijing Winter Olympics and Paralympics, attracting student representatives to watch and check in.

The 22nd "Golden Hedgehog College Student Drama Season" and the "Campus Original Cultural Performance" series of activities will be held from August to September 2024. This public welfare visit for college students is a key summer activity of the "'Beijing' Colorful Culture Youth Blooming" action plan art project, and is also one of the featured activities of the 22nd "Golden Hedgehog College Student Drama Season" and "Campus Original Cultural Performance". Through a series of public welfare drama classes, script readings, drama exchanges, and viewing dramas and exhibitions, college students have further broadened their cognitive horizons of drama culture and gained more opportunities for learning and communication, which will be beneficial to promoting the development of college drama culture and deepening the cultivation of campus drama talents and the inheritance and dissemination of drama.
"Turning passion into one's profession." Yang Xin believes that college drama clubs are a stage for realizing dreams. On such a stage, the enthusiasm of young people becomes a driving force, prompting more and more young people to devote themselves to drama creation and contribute to the construction of the drama industry.
