Lei Jun further revealed that he will hold a live broadcast event at 18:00 on the 17th to share the story behind this summer test with the public.

Looking back, although Xiaomi Auto has not been officially launched, its development has always attracted much attention. Last year, several Xiaomi executives, including Lei Jun, were photographed by the media in Xinjiang to participate in the summer testing of Xiaomi Auto. Among them, Shunwei Capital Investment Partner Hu Zhengnan also publicly shared the low power consumption per 100 kilometers achieved by the test vehicle.

In his personal annual speech held in July this year, Lei Jun not only shared his experience of obtaining a racing license and learning drifting, but also mentioned the interesting things that happened during the test drive in Turpan: "The local watermelons are big and sweet, and only 50 cents a kilogram. I bought a dozen and brought them back to Beijing, but paid a shipping fee that was 100 times the price of the watermelons."
