On the evening of August 14, Chongqing Brewery Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "Chongqing Brewery") released its first half report for 2024. The report shows that from January to June, the company achieved beer sales of 17.838 million kiloliters, a year-on-year increase of 3.30%; operating income of 8.861 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 4.18%; net profit attributable to the parent company of 901 million yuan, a year-on-year increase of 4.19%; net profit attributable to the parent company after deducting non-recurring items of 888 million yuan, a year-on-year increase of 3.91%.

Chongqing Beer's performance is significantly better than the industry level. Taking sales as an example, data from the National Bureau of Statistics show that from January to June 2024, the cumulative beer production of China's large-scale enterprises was 19.088 million kiloliters, a slight increase of only 0.1% year-on-year.

Local brands: Continuous investment to help consumers upgrade their experience
