Public information shows that Wang Xiaojiang was born in August 1969 in Wugong, Shaanxi Province, and holds a postgraduate degree from the Party School of the Provincial Party Committee. He has served as member of the Standing Committee and Minister of the Organization Department of Xunyi County, Deputy Secretary, Acting County Magistrate, County Magistrate, Secretary of Ziyang County Party Committee, Deputy Director of the Civil Affairs Department of Shaanxi Province, Deputy Secretary of the Shaanxi Provincial Commission for Discipline Inspection, Deputy Director of the Provincial Supervisory Commission, and a first-level senior supervisor.

Recently, the official website of the Xi'an Municipal Party Committee showed that the composition of the Standing Committee of the Xi'an Municipal Party Committee had been adjusted. Kang Jun, Wang Ruifeng, Yao Lijun,Huang Qiang no longer serves as a member of the Standing Committee of the Xi'an Municipal Party Committee. The new members of the Standing Committee are Wang Xiaojiang, Meng Hao, Wu Jiang, and Xu Ketao.

In addition, updated information in the "Leadership Body" column of the Xi'an Municipal Commission for Discipline Inspection and Supervision website shows that Wang Xiaojiang has been appointed as the Secretary of the Xi'an Municipal Commission for Discipline Inspection.

It is worth mentioning that in 2015, Wang Xiaojiang, then secretary of the Ziyang County Party Committee, was awarded the title of National Outstanding County Party Secretary.
