【Activity content】

White Snake: Floating Life (2024) is the third film in the White Snake series under the Light Chaser Animation New Legend series. It was released nationwide on August 10, the Chinese Valentine's Day, with a cumulative box office of over 180 million yuan. The story of the film continues White Snake: Origin, telling the story of how 500 years later, Xiaobai found A Xuan, the reincarnation of Xu Xian, and the two met at the Broken Bridge of West Lake, starting a touching and extraordinary relationship. The film depicts the vivid urban style of Lin'an in the Song Dynasty with a fully upgraded grand production and unrestrained imagination, leading the audience to immerse themselves in the Chinese style and Song rhyme, and enjoy a top audio-visual feast that subverts imagination.

The "White Snake Series" has extraordinary significance both for the development of Light Chasing Animation and for Chinese animation creation inspired by traditional Chinese culture.

When "White Snake: Floating Life" is finally released, we will invite the film's director Chen Jianxi, director Li Jiakai, and producer Zeng Fanyu to be guests at Beijing SKP RENDEZ-VOUS to share the past and present life of the "White Snake".

We will start with the main creators' respective educational and artistic creation experiences, recalling how they joined Light Chaser Animation and how they created the entire "White Snake Series". Light Chaser celebrated its 10th anniversary with "30,000 Miles of Chang'an", and concluded the "White Snake" story with "White Snake: Floating Life", and also started a new creative phase.
