On August 14, Luo Ruishen, the wheelchair student who had become popular on the Internet earlier, received an admission letter from Taishan University of Science and Technology and became a student majoring in computer application technology at the School of Big Data.
Previously, Luo Ruishen's story was widely circulated on the Internet. He suffered from a rare disease called phenylketonuria and was wheelchair-bound since childhood. Doctors predicted that he would not live past 18, but he never gave in to fate with extraordinary courage and love. At the age of 19, he bravely walked into the college entrance examination room and handed in a score of 343, winning himself a ticket to the university campus.
After learning about Luo Ruishen's situation, Taishan Institute of Technology and Chongqing Yitong University joined hands and immediately extended an olive branch to him. On the morning of the same day, Zhi Yingbin, vice president of Taishan Institute of Technology, personally visited him to issue him an admission letter and promised to provide him with all-round support and care.
During the process of issuing the admission letter, Zhi Yingbin expressed his warm welcome to Luo Ruishen's admission and introduced in detail the study and life arrangements tailored for him by the school.
