The World Youth (U18) Women's Handball Championship is held every two years and is the world's highest-level event for the U18 age group. This year's event has about 800 athletes and coaches from top youth women's teams from 32 countries and regions including Asia, Europe, America, and Africa. From August 14 to 25, 116 fierce matches will be held.

According to the competition rules, the 32 participating teams are divided into 8 groups from A to H, with 4 teams in each group. Among them, the Chinese team is in Group E.

In the first match of the Chinese team last night, the opponent Greenland team showed very tenacious performance in the away game, and the game was full of "gunpowder smell" from the beginning. In this game, the Chinese team played very well, with 14 players scoring goals, leading by a large score in the first half. After 60 minutes of fierce battle, the Chinese team finally defeated the opponent 46 to 17, and got a "good start" in the first game.
