In order to stimulate children's interest in reading and cultivate good reading habits, on August 13, the New Era Civilization Practice Institute, the Youth League Committee, the Women's Federation, the Cultural Station, the Central Primary School, and the Shandu Shanpin Xigang Bookstore in Xigang Town, Tengzhou City jointly held a themed civilization practice activity called "Reading for the Future - Writing a Diary for Nature". More than 20 college students, teenagers and parents who participated in the Blue Bird Project social practice participated in the event.
At the event, Bluebird Project college students and children read the growth story of astronomer Zhu Kezhen together and learned about knowledge related to astronomy and climate. In the vivid interpretation and easy-to-understand explanation of the volunteers, the children were attentive and actively participated in the interaction, and the atmosphere was very warm. After the reading, the volunteers took out the handmade materials prepared in advance and invited everyone to make a unique medal to give to the important people around them. With the help of parents and volunteers, the children made beautiful and cute small medals, and happy smiles appeared on their faces.
