The 2024 Guangdong Youth Sports Dance Open (Yunfu Station) and the 2nd Yunfu Sports Dance Open were successfully held in Luoding City a few days ago. This event not only provides a stage for sports dance enthusiasts to showcase themselves and compete, but also injects strong impetus into the high-quality development of Luoding's cultural and tourism industry. This event is also a provincial mass sports brand event of Guangdong Province's "Welcome to the 15th National Games".
The competition was guided by Guangdong Provincial Social Sports and Training Competition Center, supported by Luoding Municipal Bureau of Culture, Radio, Television, Tourism and Sports, hosted by Guangdong Provincial Youth Sports Dance Association and undertaken by Yunfu Sports Dance Association. The competition attracted 33 teams from Zhanjiang, Guangzhou, Jiangmen, Yangjiang, Foshan, Zhongshan, Zhaoqing, Yunfu and other places, with about 500 contestants and more than 1,000 participants, the youngest of whom was less than 5 years old.
The level of the contestants was high, the Latin and standard dance contestants showed their best performances, and the judging team was fair and just, which received unanimous praise from the organizing committee leaders and participating teams.
According to the competition rules, the top 8 contestants in this event can obtain free qualification to participate in the 13th Guangdong Youth Sports Dance Championship hosted by Guangdong Social Sports and Training and Competition Center. The event will be held in Zhongshan City on November 30, 2024.
The relevant person in charge of Luoding Municipal Bureau of Culture, Radio, Television, Tourism and Sports said that the successful holding of this event provided a platform for sports dance enthusiasts to display their talents and skills, and promoted the exchange and integration of sports culture between cities. Hotels near Luoding Stadium were "hard to find a room", which not only promoted the development of sports dance among young people in Guangdong Province, but also promoted the development of local tourism economy.
