Innovation and technology are the core driving forces for the high-quality development of China's economy. They are of vital importance for nurturing and supporting technology start-ups and promoting sustainable growth of the future economy. KPMG pays close attention to the development of innovative technology and aims to assist the growth of China's innovative technology companies, providing a platform for technology leaders from all walks of life to share resources and services.
Jiang Liqin, Head of Client and Business Development at KPMG China, said, "As a professional service organization, KPMG China is committed to promoting the continuous development of China's technological innovation ecosystem. We firmly believe that fast-growing technology start-ups are new engines of economic growth with unlimited potential. While they provide strong impetus for the long-term development of China's economy, they also bring more Chinese experience and wisdom to the world."
This competition attracted outstanding start-ups from all over the country. After several rounds of screening, 15 companies finally stood out and entered the China finals, covering multiple fields such as artificial intelligence, big data, cloud computing, and the Internet of Things. These companies not only represent the cutting-edge level of China's scientific and technological innovation, but also demonstrate China's profound accumulation and development potential in the field of emerging technologies.
During the competition, representatives of 15 finalists gave wonderful presentations one by one. Each project had 3 minutes to introduce its innovative ideas and technologies to the jury, followed by a 5-minute Q&A session. The jury, composed of investors and consultants in the field of science and technology, conducted a comprehensive evaluation based on six aspects: innovation and change, market potential, customer recognition, market traction and marketing, long-term development potential, and presentation quality.
Since KPMG China held the Innovation Technology Competition, it has been committed to promoting the development of China's technological innovation ecosystem and building a bridge for Chinese technology companies to go global. It is reported that the champion company will represent the Chinese region to participate in the global finals held in Lisbon, Portugal in November, and compete with innovative companies from all over the world. This is not only an affirmation of the champion company, but also an important opportunity for Chinese technology start-ups to enter the international stage. Through exchanges and competition with global peers, Chinese companies can expand cross-industry resources, establish connections with international experts, and enhance their own attention and influence in the international market.
With the rapid development of global technological innovation, the country's support for technological innovation will further accelerate the development of domestic advanced technologies and promote the advancement of Chinese companies in the global value chain. Yang Jiayan, the managing partner of private and family business services at KPMG China, said that the KPMG Global Innovation Technology Competition has created an important international stage for start-ups to share their creativity and scientific research results with the world and show their development direction. Innovative thinking will cross boundaries, inject more possibilities into corporate development, and help them become future technology giants.
This is not the first time that KPMG China has held the China Innovation Technology Competition, during which we have witnessed the active participation and investment of many innovative entrepreneurs.
