We have previously reported that in "Dead Rising: Deluxe Remastered", players will no longer be able to get rewards by taking photos of beautiful women like in the original version, which has disappointed some players.
According to a report by foreign media VG247 citing IGN content, Capcom recently sent a statement to IGN. In the victory, Capcom explained: "When developing "Dead Rising: Deluxe Remastered", we tried our best to create a game that would please the returning core fans and attract new players. As the development progressed, we inevitably found that we could not make this remastered game cover all the content of the original game. For this point system, this is something we discussed in detail and decided to delete. Rather than cutting it in response to the changing culture, we believe that there is no need to build this reward point system on this basis."
"Also, given Frank's situation, this is not an appropriate reward for being able to survive, nor is it the skill a journalist would need to have in trying to survive the next 72 hours during a zombie apocalypse. However, players still have the freedom to choose their photo subjects, and even if they will not receive points, players can decide for themselves what photo to take to represent their journey."
"Dead Rising: Deluxe Remastered" will be released on September 19th, and will be available in digital version on PS5, Xbox Series and PC platforms. The physical version is expected to be released in November 2024, so stay tuned.
