With global climate change and increasingly scarce resources, the promotion of green and renewable energy has become a global consensus. As a clean and renewable energy, solar energy is increasingly used in daily life. In order to cultivate the sense of responsibility and innovation of young people and children in the area for environmental protection, the Women's Federation and the Youth League Committee of Yongchangjing Community, Caohu Street, Xiangcheng District, Suzhou, recently joined hands with the Xinliu Youth Development Service Center to carry out the "Technology Lights Up Smart Life" Children's Observation Group Deliberation Activity.
At the beginning of the activity, the children sat together, facing the global issue of energy shortage, their faces were full of seriousness and thought. The volunteer teachers introduced the importance of new energy and solar energy to the children in a lively and interesting way.
After the explanation, under the guidance of teachers and volunteers, the children began to make solar fans. With everyone's unremitting efforts, solar fans flowed slowly under the scorching sun as the current was converted, and the fan blades gently rotated, bringing gusts of cool wind.
After the practice, the children spoke in the discussion session and shared their feelings and ideas. Some children suggested that solar street lights could be installed in the community public areas, which would be energy-saving and beautiful; some children suggested encouraging families to use solar water heaters to reduce dependence on traditional energy...
Under the guidance of the teacher, the children compiled the results of the discussion into a "Low-carbon, Green, Energy-saving and Environmental Protection Proposal". In the proposal, the children used tender but firm strokes to call on community residents to take action together, starting with daily trivial matters, such as using energy-saving lamps, reducing disposable items, participating in afforestation, etc., to jointly protect our home planet.
The "Technology Lights Up Smart Life" new energy exploration trip organized by the children's observation group not only allowed the children to learn about new energy in practice, but also inspired their sense of responsibility and mission for environmental protection. In the future, we hope that these little observers will continue to interpret the true meaning of "Technology Lights Up Smart Life" with their actions and contribute their own strength to building a better green home.
