Beijing News Shell Finance (Reporter Luo Yidan) After more than a year of being on the cusp, AI's impact on user traffic has gradually begun to take shape. On August 13, the monitoring data of QuestMobile's latest research report showed that in June this year, the user traffic of the three apps, Zhi Xiaobao, Doubao, and Wenxin Yiyan, exceeded 10 million. Among them, Zhi Xiaobao is an "AI financial assistant" that provides services on Alipay in an embedded form, while Doubao and Wenxin Yiyan are independent large language model applications. The user traffic of the three apps was 59.08 million, 27.52 million, and 11.34 million, respectively.

The report believes that at present, the AIGC application ecosystem has gradually formed a "three major camps" pattern, including Internet leading enterprises, new AI startup unicorns and traditional well-known AI enterprises. According to QuestMobile statistics, 90% of the Internet leading apps have completed the initial exploration of embedded AI, including Ant Group, Douyin, Baidu, Alibaba, Tencent, etc.

It is worth noting that AI application plug-ins, WeChat applets, and APP embedded AI application plug-ins are all included in the statistical targets of QuestMobile's report. The report believes that independent AI APPs need to rely on buying traffic to quickly acquire new users, and at the same time, the adaptability and stickiness of user needs need to be further explored and cultivated. AI application plug-ins rely on ecological traffic pools such as super APPs to reach business users at a low cost, and can quickly integrate with existing business scenarios and capabilities within the ecosystem. Under the competition of the existing Internet ecology, plug-in AI applications have a higher probability of breaking through.
