Kuai Technology reported on August 13 that Huawei’s first small foldable model in the nova series, nova Flip, has been on sale for the first time, with a starting price of 5,288 yuan.

Huawei officially announced that nova Flip sales exceeded 45,000 units in 72 hours after its launch, an 85% increase compared to Pocket S sales.

At the same time, after the launch of nova Flip, it also helped Huawei’s share in the small foldable category exceed 70%.

The Huawei nova Flip has a 6.94-inch inner screen and adopts the industry's first 1:1 square outer screen design. The outer screen size is 2.14 inches. The outer screen supports fun call display, cute pets, DIY wallpapers, interactive and other themes.

Users can keep high-frequency applications on the external screen, such as checking the weather, viewing schedules or paying with a QR code. The external screen supports a live window that can display information such as flights and takeout.

It is worth mentioning that the phone is also the industry's thinnest at 6.88mm, making it the thinnest small folding model to date.

In terms of core configuration, Huawei nova Flip uses a basalt water drop hinge, has a built-in 4400mAh battery, supports 66W fast charging, a rear 50-megapixel main camera + an 8-megapixel ultra-wide-angle dual camera system, and a 32-megapixel front camera. It supports Huawei's Da Vinci Portrait Engine 2.0 and Hongmeng Smart Communication 2.0.
