According to the official website, Hubei Transportation Investment Group Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "Hubei Transportation Investment Group") is a wholly-owned transportation investment and financing enterprise of the People's Government of Hubei Province. It was established in October 2010 with a registered capital of 20.9 billion yuan. In June 2020, it was identified by the provincial government as the province's first pilot enterprise for the reform of state-owned capital investment companies. The provincial party committee and government have given Hubei Transportation Investment Group the functional positioning of "transportation planning, design, construction, and management full life cycle operator". Its business covers planning and design, engineering construction, modern logistics, regional development, transportation services, transportation technology, transportation finance and other fields. It has been on the list of China's top 500 companies for two consecutive years since 2022, ranking 360th in 2023. At present, the total assets exceed 700 billion yuan, making it the state-owned enterprise with the largest asset scale in Hubei Province.
