In order to fully implement the spirit of the Third Plenary Session of the 20th CPC Central Committee and continue to deepen the exploration of "the people call for action", on August 13, a symposium on "Hangzhou's Exploration and Practice of Public Opinion Interaction" was held in Cuiyuan District 1, Xihu District, under the guidance of the General Office of the Hangzhou Municipal Party Committee and the Propaganda Department of the Hangzhou Municipal Party Committee, and hosted by the Hangzhou Culture, Radio, and Television Group and the Propaganda Department of the Xihu District Party Committee.
The media is a bridge connecting the people and the government, and an important channel for conveying the voice of the people and gathering public opinion. This event marks the official launch of the "upgrade" action of the media of the Hangzhou public opinion interactive platform. As early as 2022, Hangzhou created a "1+X" public opinion interactive platform integrating radio, television, the Internet, and newspapers, promoting the effective resolution of a number of urgent and difficult problems of the people and hot and difficult problems of concern to the whole society, and gradually exploring and forming a full closed-loop working mechanism for public opinion collection, problem sorting, information reporting, media investigation, and follow-up supervision. In order to better adapt to the people's expectations for democratic participation and social governance in the new era, this year, Hangzhou's various public opinion interactive media platforms will also usher in a new upgrade. Among them, the "Political @" column of Hangzhou Daily will be upgraded by broadening interactive channels, enriching interactive methods, and increasing public participation, so as to listen to the voices of citizens, express the voices of the people, widely listen to public opinion, gather people's wisdom, improve work, and promote development.
In addition, this year marks the 20th anniversary of the launch of the "People's Hotline", a sub-platform of the "1+X" public opinion interactive platform of the General Office of the Hangzhou Municipal Party Committee. The program has been broadcast nearly 5,000 times, and has received more than 100,000 complaints and consultations. More than 100 district and county (city) mayors and more than 15,000 major leaders of government departments and public utilities have participated in the program. With "the people call me to do it" as the "body" and "media integration" as the "wing", the "AI host" of "People's Hotline" was released at the event site. In the future, it will bring a new audio-visual experience and information services to everyone in a more intelligent and efficient way. "We have also recruited a group of '00s' public opinion observers from the society this year. They will use the insight and creativity of young people to capture people's livelihood hotspots and participate in public opinion interactions." The person in charge of the program said.
It is understood that the conference not only invited experts and scholars from all over the country, but also invited representatives of the livelihood programs of urban TV stations across the country to Hangzhou to express their insights for the public opinion interactive platform to continue to tell the story of Hangzhou and spread the voice of the people in the future, and explore more theoretical, practical and institutional results. At the same time, the Xihu District "People Call Me to Do" Origin Tracing and Grassroots Practice Research Center was also officially established on the spot.
