Strauss Zelnick said: "I think that adding a high-priced first-tier blockbuster to the subscription service on the first day can drive consumers to the subscription service - at least for a period of time... However, this does not affect our decision (not to add our blockbuster to the subscription service at the first launch). Because our decision is rational."

Black Ops 6 will be released on October 25, 2024, and will be available on Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One, PS5, PS4, and PC platforms, and will be included in the Xbox Games Pass Ultimate subscription service on the first day of its release.
