Become a candidate for national honorary title

According to Xinhua News Agency, this year marks the 75th anniversary of the founding of the People's Republic of China. The Party Central Committee has decided to conduct a centralized selection and awarding of national medals and national honorary titles to solemnly commend a group of meritorious and exemplary figures who have made outstanding contributions to the construction and development of New China. According to the work deployment of the selection and awarding, after repeated comparisons and collective research by various regions and departments, and after organizational investigation and overall consideration, 4 recommended candidates for the "Medal of the Republic" and 10 recommended candidates for national honorary titles were generated. Economist Zhang Zhuoyuan has become a recommended candidate for national honorary titles.■
