On August 13, a Cover News reporter learned from the Chongqing Fengdu special session of the "Districts and Counties Shouldering New Missions and Discussing Implementation" series of press conferences that Fengdu currently has two industrial projects with investments exceeding 10 billion yuan, namely a glass fiber project with an investment of 20 billion yuan and a special aluminum new material project with an investment of 10 billion yuan. The industry chain is being extended and improved, and efforts are being made to build a 50 billion-level new material industry cluster.

"Focusing on high-quality development, Fengdu County has vigorously developed the 'four new' industries, including new materials, new energy, new cultural tourism, and new agriculture." Zhang Guozhong, secretary of the Fengdu County Party Committee, said that in terms of new energy, Fengdu's 10.3 billion yuan pumped storage project is accelerating construction, and 440,000 kilowatts of wind power has been built and connected to the grid for power generation. Wind power and photovoltaics are still being developed in the future, and the new energy industry cluster is expected to reach 10 billion level.

In terms of new cultural tourism, Fengdu has sorted out the natural landscape and historical and cultural background, and strived to create cultural tourism IP. Focusing on the National Yangtze River Cultural Park, it strives to build the Mingshan Cultural Park and promote some projects to enter the project library. At the same time, it will work with Wulong and Fuling to build a demonstration zone for the integrated development of cultural and tourism industries, and strive to create cultural landscapes.

In terms of new agriculture, Fengdu already has 7 national leading enterprises, and is further promoting the development and growth of these 7 enterprises, cultivating 10,000 new farmers at the same time, and striving to build a beef cattle industry chain worth tens of billions of yuan, as well as a chicken and mustard tuber specialty industry chain, and promote beef imports, mustard tuber exports, and radish exports to the first place in the city. Moreover, Fengdu's export rate is still growing at a double-digit rate this year, and it is building a national rural revitalization demonstration county.
