Is there any admission reduction for ordinary higher vocational (junior college) students? How is admission reduced by scores carried out?
Answer: Yes. According to Article 18, Item 2 of the "Implementation Measures for the Enrollment of General Higher Education Institutions in Fujian Province in 2024" promulgated by the Provincial Admissions Committee and the Provincial Department of Education: Public higher vocational (technical) colleges will not lower the admission score. If private higher vocational colleges in Fujian Province still have insufficient enrollment after the first solicitation of volunteers, they can, with approval, submit the files from high to low scores among the candidates who have filled in the school's major volunteers in the first solicitation of volunteers within 20 points below the junior college admission control score line, and the recruiting institutions will select the best candidates for admission. The second solicitation of volunteers submission and admission method is the same as the first solicitation of volunteers.
