In particular, as a key construction link in this field, maternal and infant rooms have received extensive attention. The government not only provides macro-guidance and strict supervision on the construction of maternal and infant rooms by continuously issuing relevant policy documents, but also all sectors of society have actively voiced their opinions and put forward diversified suggestions and opinions. These efforts have jointly promoted the positive development of the construction of maternal and infant rooms, prompting them to be increasingly improved, so as to provide users with more intimate and thoughtful services.
Navigation: Finding channels for mother and baby rooms
In most cases, you can choose to ask nearby staff about the location of the baby room, and then find it according to the signs. In addition to asking staff, we can also use the power of the Internet to find baby rooms. The main channels for finding baby rooms on the Internet are map navigation apps, government apps, social media, and WeChat applets. Each of the four has its own advantages and disadvantages and complements each other.
According to the investigation, the number of mother-and-child rooms that can be found in some areas on the map navigation app does not match the existing number reported in its official documents. This shows that the locations of mother-and-child rooms and their navigation routes on the map navigation app are not complete enough and need to be updated in a timely manner to better provide services to users.
As a relatively unfamiliar search channel, some government APPs can also query the location of mother-and-child rooms near users, and have one-click navigation and indoor facility viewing functions, which can provide users with relatively comprehensive services. However, relatively few users know that government APPs have this function, and more publicity is needed; at the same time, not all government APPs have this function, and local governments should make timely adjustments based on the needs of local residents.
When searching for "mother and baby rooms in a certain area" and other related content on social media, users can find the specific location of the mother and baby room based on online posts and combined with life experience. At the same time, they can view the specific configuration and related reviews of the mother and baby room and have a preliminary understanding of it. However, this channel cannot search for all the locations of mother and baby rooms, and there is no one-click navigation function. Users need to find them by themselves according to actual conditions.
With the continuous improvement of WeChat mini-program functions and maternal and child facilities, WeChat has launched a mini-program for mobile mother and baby rooms. Although its design is simple and its functions are relatively single, it can only see the approximate location of the mobile mother and baby room and scan the code to unlock it, but it is also a new force to promote the continuous improvement of maternal and child facilities.
Evaluation: The quality of maternity and baby rooms varies
As the number of maternity and infant rooms increases and their frequency of use increases, a large number of related reviews have emerged on the Internet. These reviews mainly focus on several key dimensions of maternity and infant rooms, including superior geographical location, spacious space layout, complete supporting facilities, clean environment, comfortable lighting tone and good privacy.
According to the evaluation results of the "SISU Baby Room Survey Team", most of the current baby rooms can meet the basic breastfeeding needs of mothers, but there are still some problems. Among the 29 baby rooms evaluated, most of them are in shopping malls, while the results are unsatisfactory for baby rooms in public places such as stations and libraries, most of which have problems such as unclear guidance mechanisms and small spaces.
Discussion: The real demands of the infant-rearing population
By analyzing the parts of speech of the crawled comments, we found that more than half of the comments were negative expressions. On social media, people discussed the use of mother and baby rooms, exposing many problems that need to be solved urgently.
What many mothers want most is to find a quiet and private corner in the mother-and-child room so that they can breastfeed comfortably. However, in reality, the breastfeeding areas in some mother-and-child rooms are not clearly divided, making it difficult for mothers to protect their privacy. The design of independent breastfeeding rooms is undoubtedly a caring care for mothers, and separating the breastfeeding areas also helps fathers bring babies into the mother-and-child room to change diapers or assist mothers. However, in reality, such independent breastfeeding rooms often become a safe haven for some irrelevant people, such as men (especially smokers), couples (malicious occupation) and even cleaning staff (resting). These behaviors not only infringe on the rights and interests of mothers and babies, but also seriously affect the user experience of the mother-and-child room.
In addition to privacy issues, the sanitary conditions of the baby room are also a focus of attention. A clean and tidy baby room can bring a good experience to users and is also an important guarantee for the health of mothers and babies. However, due to the inadequate work of cleaning staff and the uneven quality of users, the sanitary conditions of many baby rooms are not ideal, and there are even problems such as odor and stains. This will greatly reduce the efficiency of the use of baby rooms, which is undoubtedly worse for the already insufficient baby rooms.
In addition, the interior design of the maternity and baby room has also attracted everyone's attention. Some details, such as the air-conditioning outlet directly facing the diaper changing table, the direct glare of the lights, and the lack of hot water outlet, have brought inconvenience to users. These seemingly minor problems actually concern the comfort and health of mothers and babies.
Planning: Construction of standardized mother-and-child rooms
In recent years, as the public's calls for the construction of mother-and-child rooms have become increasingly strong, the authorities have promptly issued a large number of relevant documents to clarify responsibilities and promote implementation, providing clear directional guidance and strong mechanism guarantees for the construction of mother-and-child rooms.
Before 2020, the keyword "facilities" had the highest frequency and was the most concerned aspect. In contrast, other keywords such as "construction", "management" and "public places" had relatively low frequencies, but also received a certain amount of attention. This shows that at that time, the authorities paid more attention to the design of the superstructure and wanted to build relevant facilities first, maintain their basic operation, and provide basic services to the public.
After 2020, the frequency of keywords has changed. Among them, the word "facility" still has the highest frequency, while the frequency of keywords such as "construction" and "management" has also increased. This shows that the government still attaches importance to the construction of infrastructure at this time, and on this basis, it has increased the importance of its management and maintenance to help its sustainable development.
In general, this chart clearly shows the changes in the frequency of policy keywords related to the construction of mother-and-child rooms around 2020, providing important reference information for the further formulation and implementation of relevant policies in the future.
For parents, a well-built and fully equipped maternity and baby room is not only a small place that provides convenience, but also a place to feel the care of the society for the infant care population.
