IT Home reported on August 13 that foreign media VideoCardz said yesterday Beijing time that it had learned that GALAX will launch the RTX 4070 1-Click OC 2X graphics card equipped with GDDR6 video memory. This card is also the first officially confirmed RTX 4070 GDDR6 product.

Report confirms that the GDDR6 memory version of the RTX 4070 graphics card is based on AD104-251 Core(The original version of RTX 4070 is AD104-250), the core size remains at 5888CUDA, and it is equipped with 192Bit 20Gbps 12GB GDDR6 video memory.

Compared to the original RTX 4070 equipped with 192bit 21Gbps 12GB GDDR6X video memory, the new RTX 4070 GDDR6 Memory bandwidth has been slightly reduced from 504GB/s to 480GB/s

At the graphics card level, the GALAX RTX 4070 1-Click OC 2X GDDR6 maintains a dual-fan dual-slot design and is equipped with a single 8Pin power interface. From the existing pictures, no differences have been found in its PCB design and the GDDR6X version of RTX 4070.

Considering the adjustment of video memory type, the TDP power consumption of the GDDR6 version of RTX 4070 graphics card should change to a certain extent, but this information has not yet been made public, and IT Home will continue to pay attention to it.
