Beijing's Fangshan District will welcome its first Sam's Club. The reporter learned on August 12 that the Fangshan District Sam's Club project had completed project approval on August 8, and is expected to start construction in October this year and open for business around the beginning of 2026. This is the seventh Sam's Club confirmed to be introduced in Beijing.

In recent years, Fangshan District has seized new opportunities for urban development and has made efforts to create new development advantages by introducing high-quality commercial projects. In order to continue to promote the construction of an international consumer center city and effectively improve the quality of the business district, Fangshan District actively connects with the Walmart project party and actively introduces Sam's Club to empower the quality upgrade of the Changyang business district and accelerate the construction of the Changyang leisure and business district.

Recently, Fangshan District Bureau of Commerce, Changyang Town and Sam's Club (Shanghai) Investment Co., Ltd. held a project agreement negotiation meeting and reached an agreement on the specific content and details of the project cooperation agreement. It is reported that the Fangshan District Sam's Club project is located in Beiguangyangcheng Village, Changyang Town, with a land area of ​​4.66 hectares. The main building consists of one floor above ground and one floor underground, with a total construction area of ​​36,000 square meters and more than 960 parking spaces. The establishment of Sam's Club will further help Fangshan District create a new consumption scene and help the iterative upgrade of the consumer market.

As of now, Sam's Club has nearly 50 stores in China, including 4 stores in Beijing, which are located in Daxing, Yizhuang, Shunyi and Shijingshan districts. Sam's Club has also opened new stores in Songzhuang, Tongzhou District and Beiqijia, Changping District, and Beiqijia District plans to introduce the largest Sam's Club in Beijing.
