"Full of power and explosiveness" is a very obvious style in Liu Qingyi's dance.In 2015, Liu Qingyi began to learn breakdancing. She has persisted in this dance style that requires extremely high strength and skills for nearly 10 years.

In the group stage of the women's breakdancing event at the Paris Olympics, Liu Qingyi advanced to the quarterfinals as the second in the group. In the subsequent quarterfinals, she defeated Ukrainian player Katerina 3-0. In the semifinals, Liu Qingyi played against 17-year-old Lithuanian player Dominika, but eventually lost 1-2 and missed the final.

In the bronze medal match, Liu Qingyi showed off her skills to the fullest. She used many "big moves" and finally defeated the Dutch player India 2-1.Won the bronze medal in the women's breakdancing event at the 2024 Paris Olympics.

Liu Qingyi,Born in Huixian City, Xinxiang, Henan Province in 2005. Feng Wenbo is Liu Qingyi's first coach. He clearly remembers that in the summer vacation of 2015,Liu QingyiHe came to the street dance club he runs, asked to learn breakdancing, and performed a handstand on the spot.

In Feng Wenbo's memory, Liu Qingyi trained very hard and her level improved rapidly.Breakdancing is not easy to practice. Many of the signature moves have to be performed on the floor, such as holding the floor with hands to freeze inverted positions, and performing difficult rotations... It is hard and dangerous. However, only two months after entering school, Liu Qingyi learned 360-degree rotations and Thomas turns. A year later, she entered the top 16 in the Henan provincial breakdancing competition.

Liu Qingyi said to everyone:"Dance if you like, and don't give up on your dreams!"This sentence became her motto.

In 2017, after two years of practicing breakdancing, Liu Qingyi began to participate in breakdancing competitions of various sizes with the dance club. In 2020, Liu Qingyi joined the Henan Provincial Team, the year breakdancing was included in the Paris Olympics. In 2023, Liu Qingyi joined the national breakdancing team and won the qualification to go directly to Paris as the champion in the Asian Games of the same year.
