On August 11, the donation and dispatch ceremony of the large-scale medical aid charity action "Han Hong Love 100 People Aid Jilin" was held in Changchun. SAIC Motor, together with its Roewe brand and Beijing Han Hong Love Charity Foundation, donated 30 Roewe brand vehicles to the Jilin Provincial Health Commission as special vehicles for medical rounds, including 6 Roewe D5X DMH of the Roewe D family and 24 Roewe RX5, a powerful model inherited from three generations.
While SAIC Roewe donated 30 special medical patrol vehicles, a volunteer team composed of SAIC Roewe owners will also participate in the assistance action throughout the process, using warmth and enthusiasm to support the upward and kind social trend, and interpret the spirit of "Roewe is beautiful, safe and comprehensive protection" pursued by SAIC Roewe. In the future, Roewe D5X DMH will be used as a special medical patrol vehicle to travel in various counties, districts and towns in Jilin Province, like a "mobile hospital" to bring health, convenience and warmth to the grassroots people.
The volunteer team of this charity event will face winding mountain roads, gravel and mud roads, and wading through mountains and rivers. Relying on the long endurance, high power, full working conditions, full scenarios, and excellent fuel-saving qualities of Roewe D5X DMH, the team will escort the medical team throughout the complex road conditions and fully ensure travel safety. As the first SUV of the Roewe D family, Roewe D5X DMH relies on the fifth-generation DMH super hybrid technology that has been continuously evolved based on the National Science and Technology Progress Award to achieve precise power output and speed control. Even in the face of complex road conditions, volunteers can flexibly control the vehicle. In addition, the 21.4kWh high-efficiency long-endurance battery equipped with Roewe D5X DMH ensures a comprehensive endurance of 1,748km. In the face of incomplete refueling supply facilities in mountainous areas, it can also ensure that one refueling can reach more villages with relatively backward medical conditions. In addition, Roewe D5X DMH is also equipped with a 6kW high-power external discharge function, which also makes it possible for portable medical equipment to be used on board.
As the largest automobile group in China in terms of production and sales, SAIC Motor and Han Hong Foundation have officially established a public welfare strategic partnership since 2020. Through donations of cash and medical patrol vehicles, they jointly support the construction of primary medical and health care, and actively contribute to "Healthy China" while promoting the spirit of public welfare. SAIC Roewe strongly supports the "100-person Medical Assistance Series Public Welfare Action", donating a total of 120 medical patrol vehicles, participating in public welfare with practical actions, and actively practicing corporate social responsibility. SAIC Roewe has always adhered to the concept of empowering good products with good technology, providing good services, and is committed to bringing users a better life. It has actively participated in public welfare, injected warm energy into medical patrol activities in remote areas, brought hope to local people, and achieved a better life.
Founded in 2012, Beijing Han Hong Charity Foundation has the mission of "focusing on rural medical assistance and protecting life and health". Over the past ten years, the "Han Hong Charity 100-person Medical Assistance Series" charity campaign has covered 11 provinces (autonomous regions) including Tibet, Inner Mongolia, Xinjiang, Qinghai, Guizhou, Gansu, Ningxia, Shaanxi, Sichuan, Yunnan, and Heilongjiang, covering a distance of more than 70,000 kilometers, holding more than 130 large-scale free clinics, and directly benefiting more than 100,000 people.
