On August 12, the Organization Department of the Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region Party Committee issued a pre-appointment announcement for leading cadres.

Among them are: Sun Ruijun, female, Han nationality, born in August 1983, postgraduate, member of the Communist Party of China, currently deputy secretary of the Yulin Municipal Party Committee and deputy mayor of the Municipal People's Government, and is expected to be appointed to a full-time position in a district-level department-level unit.

Public information shows that Sun Ruijun, female, Han nationality, was born in August 1983, native of Huangxian County, Shandong Province. She joined the Communist Party of China in March 2003, has a postgraduate degree, and holds a doctorate in economics. After graduating with a doctorate in 2010, Sun Ruijun stayed at Tsinghua University as a teacher in the Research Department of the Party Committee, and later served as deputy secretary of the Tsinghua University Youth League Committee (deputy division level).

In 2012, Sun Ruijun went to work in Guangxi and was appointed as a member of the Standing Committee of the Pingxiang Municipal Party Committee and deputy mayor. In 2013, Sun Ruijun, then 30 years old, became the mayor of Pingxiang City, and in 2017 he was transferred to become the secretary of the Qintang District Party Committee of Guigang City.

At the beginning of 2020, Sun Ruijun was transferred to Baise Municipal Party Committee as member of the Standing Committee and Minister of Organization Department, becoming a deputy department-level cadre. In October 2021, Sun Ruijun was appointed member of the Standing Committee of Baise Municipal Party Committee, Deputy Mayor of the Municipal Government, and Deputy Secretary of the Party Group. In February 2023, Sun Ruijun was transferred across cities to serve as Deputy Secretary of Yulin Municipal Party Committee.
