Beijing News: In combination with Beijing's urban characteristics and in response to the requirements of the "Notice on Carrying out the "Sports Events into Scenic Spots, Street Districts, and Business Districts" issued by the General Administration of Sports, the Ministry of Commerce, and the Ministry of Culture and Tourism, on the morning of August 10, the "Run, Young People" 2024 Beijing Youth Scientific Fitness Guidance Popularization and Youth Physical Fitness Promotion Fun Games" entered Chongwai Street and was held in the Beijing Guorui Shopping Center business district.
The activity is themed "Run, Young People" and focuses on popularizing scientific fitness knowledge among young people. It organizes regular themed fitness activities, publicizes new concepts of scientific fitness among young people, popularizes scientific fitness knowledge, and demonstrates the positive spirit of young people. It allows children and young people to enjoy fun, enhance their physical fitness, improve their personality, and strengthen their will through physical exercise, thereby promoting the improvement of the physical exercise ability and health level of children and young people in our city.
This event is a special event for the promotion of parkour in the annual plan. It focuses on the parkour elite competitions for four groups: U7, U8, U10, and U12. It also conducts routine physical tests for teenagers in terms of lung capacity, flexibility, reaction, balance, etc. The organizing committee also invites parents and children to participate in the parkour relay race.
There are a total of 7 events throughout the year. This is the third one this year. Later, they will be held in rural areas, the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region, and the northern three counties.
