Beijing News Shell Finance (Reporter Wang Linlin) On August 11, Beijing News Shell Finance reporter learned from the official of China Automotive Power Battery Industry Innovation Alliance that my country's power battery installed capacity in July this year was 41.6GWh (gigawatt hours), a decrease of 2.9% month-on-month and a year-on-year increase of 29%; from January to July, my country's cumulative installed capacity of power batteries was 244.9GWh, a cumulative year-on-year increase of 32.8%.
In terms of export performance, my country's cumulative exports of power and other batteries reached 89.2GWh from January to July, a cumulative year-on-year increase of 28.9%, and the total cumulative exports accounted for 18.3% of the cumulative sales in the first seven months; among them, the cumulative export volume of power batteries was 69.6GWh, a cumulative year-on-year increase of 5.2%, accounting for 78% of the total cumulative exports.
From the perspective of the ranking of companies based on the installed capacity of power batteries, CATL ranks first with a market share of 46.54%, BYD ranks second with a market share of 24.72%, and the third to fifth places are CATL, EVE Energy and Gotion High-tech respectively.
