IT Home reported on August 12 that Lenovo officially responded to the US media Forbes regarding the appearance of information on the FAQ page of its official website that was inconsistent with the existing Legion Go handheld game console and was suspected to be pointing to the new Legion Go, explaining the relevant situation.

The specific response is as follows:

The FAQ section in question contained incorrect information pertaining to the 1st generation Lenovo Legion Go, and thanks to our eagle-eyed Legion fans it was brought to our attention and subsequently removed. We are very happy to see the Legion fanbase paying rapt attention to Lenovo Legion updates and while we cannot comment on the possibility of future announcements,we can promise that we are working on bringing the coolest new gaming innovations to our fans around the world.

The FAQ page of Lenovo Legion Go's English official website previously mentioned some parameters and specifications that did not appear on the existing Lenovo Legion Go models, such as a 7-inch screen, dual-fan cooling, and HDMI interface:

IT Home Note:The existing Lenovo Legion Go handheld game console uses a single fan for cooling and an 8.8-inch 2560×1600 resolution 144Hz high refresh ten-point touch screen. It can output video signals through the USB4 interface and has no HDMI port.

Foreign media Windows Central previously reported that Lenovo is indeed developing an iterative handheld game console called Legion Go S, which is more compact and affordable than the original version.

Windows Central expects Legion Go S to include new colors, a 7-inch display, and a non-detachable handle.
