In Liantang Village, Huangpu District, Guangzhou, there is a "no-one-on-the-ground" super farm. On August 9, a rice transplanter equipped with an agricultural machinery autopilot was carrying out automatic rice transplanting operations for late-season rice planting. "The rice transplanter equipped with an agricultural machinery autopilot is very convenient to operate. It provides a variety of operating modes such as straight lines, curves, and strip sowing, which can meet agricultural tasks such as rotary tillage, furrowing, sowing, mulching, and transplanting." Ye Yonghui, a "new farmer" and head of super farm operations, said while operating the machine: "A week ago, we used drones to complete seed sowing, eliminating the manual sowing and seedling management of traditional rice planting, and promoting cost reduction and efficiency improvement in agriculture."

At present, the low-altitude economy is injecting new vitality into many fields in Guangzhou. Guangzhou actively promotes the innovative development of the low-altitude industry, builds a full-space unmanned system, and strives to build a world-leading "Sky City" and "Smart Driving City".

From "flying in the air" to "ground use"

In Guangzhou, flying has become a reality. As early as last year, Guangzhou built the first aerial intelligent transportation experience center in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area. On March 8 this year, a flying car "Traveler X2" sounded the roar of propellers and took off vertically from Tiande Plaza in the CBD of Zhujiang New Town. Through the automatic driving mode, it flew towards the Guangzhou Tower and successfully started low-altitude flight.
