Recently, Zhang Zhuo, general manager of BYD Ocean Network Marketing Division, disclosed the latest news about the Haibao 06 GT, saying that the car will be unveiled at the Chengdu Auto Show and is expected to start pre-sales, and the official launch time is expected to be in mid-to-late September.

BYD Haibao 06 GT is a new pure electric hatchback model of BYD Ocean Network series. It adopts BYD's latest Ocean Network family language. The front of the car is a closed design, with sharp split headlights and three-stage front surround. The rear of the car is equipped with a through-type taillight group, and the tail logo uses the latest "BYD" word. The length, width and height are 4630×1880×1490mm respectively, and the wheelbase is 2820mm. The car will also provide 18-inch rims with tire specifications of 225/50 R18.

In terms of interior, it is equipped with a full LCD instrument panel and a floating central control multimedia touch screen. The seats are integrated sports type to enhance the riding wrapping feeling.

In terms of power, referring to the previously declared information, it will be equipped with two power options: single-motor rear-wheel drive and dual-motor four-wheel drive. Among them, the single-motor rear-wheel drive model provides two drive motors with different powers, with maximum powers of 160 kW and 165 kW respectively. The dual-motor four-wheel drive model is equipped with an AC asynchronous motor on the front axle with a maximum power of 110 kW; the rear axle is equipped with a permanent magnet synchronous motor with a maximum power of 200 kW. Equipped with two battery packs with a capacity of 59.52 kWh or 72.96 kWh, the corresponding range under CLTC conditions is 505 km, 605 km and 550 km, of which 550 km range may be the data for the four-wheel drive model.
