Beijing News (Reporter Wang Kala) On August 8, the Changping District Pediatric Medical Alliance was officially established. Beijing Jingdu Children's Hospital will serve as the core unit of the Pediatric Medical Alliance. Based on its superior expert resources and disciplinary advantages, it will jointly build key disciplines for major diseases that are harmful to children's health and have a high demand for medical treatment, and drive the improvement of Changping District's diagnosis and treatment capabilities for diseases that are harmful to children, high-tech, and have a high demand.
Beijing Jingdu Children's Hospital is a large tertiary children's hospital in the northern part of Beijing. Its advantageous disciplines such as pediatric hematology and pediatric congenital heart disease are ranked first in China. Based on its superior expert resources and disciplinary advantages, Beijing Jingdu Children's Hospital will serve as the core unit of the Changping District Pediatric Medical Alliance, and will jointly build key disciplines for major diseases such as pediatric hematology, congenital and acquired heart disease, neonatal-related diseases, and pediatric solid tumors, so as to drive and improve the overall technical level of pediatrics in Changping District.
At the establishment ceremony, Sun Yuan, director of Beijing Jingdu Children's Hospital, as a representative of the core unit of the Pediatric Medical Alliance, signed the "Changping District Pediatric Medical Alliance Cooperation Agreement" with representatives of member medical units such as Changping Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine, Changping Hospital of Integrated Traditional Chinese and Western Medicine, Beijing Xiaotangshan Hospital, and Wangfu Hospital of Integrated Traditional Chinese and Western Medicine, marking the official establishment of the Changping District Pediatric Medical Alliance. The Changping District Pediatric Medical Alliance has established a regional medical service division of labor and cooperation mechanism in Changping District, gradually realized the diagnosis and treatment model of primary care, hierarchical diagnosis and treatment, acute and chronic disease separation, and two-way referral, established referral and consultation green channels, and improved the overall operational efficiency of the medical service system; through the establishment of counterpart assistance, two-way referral green channels, and business guidance mechanisms, efforts have been made to drive the comprehensive and coordinated development of pediatric medical institutions in the Changping area; through the establishment of a joint meeting mechanism of the Pediatric Medical Alliance Management Committee, problems encountered in operation have been studied and resolved.
Xie Hongrui, Chief of the Medical Administration Section of the Changping District Health Commission, emphasized that the establishment of the Changping District Pediatric Medical Alliance is the result of long-term collaboration and unremitting efforts by experts from many hospitals. This move is of great significance for improving the overall diagnosis and treatment capabilities of pediatrics and the overall level of medical services in the region, strengthening the allocation of pediatric medical resources, and meeting the health needs of children. As the core unit of the Changping District Pediatric Medical Alliance, Beijing Kyoto Children's Hospital must shoulder the responsibility of a tertiary medical institution and effectively improve the diagnosis and treatment capabilities at the grassroots level. All member units of the Pediatric Medical Alliance will work together to strengthen close cooperation in remote consultation, scientific research and technological cooperation, and better push the work of the Pediatric Medical Alliance to a new stage.
Beijing Kyoto Children's Hospital has also signed a medical technology cooperation agreement with the Seventh Medical Center of the General Hospital of the People's Liberation Army of China. This cooperation will give full play to the advantages of the two hospitals in terms of talent resources, professional technology, equipment and facilities, and other medical resources, promote the complementary advantages of each other's discipline construction, and better provide children with high-quality and efficient diagnosis and treatment services.
