On the morning of August 9, the Xiuwen County People's Armed Forces Department organized basic militia to visit the China Yangming Cultural Park to allow the Xiuwen militia to fully experience the ideas and practical significance of Yangming culture: "the heart is the reason, knowledge and action are unified, and conscience is pursued."
During the visit to the Yangming Cultural Park, the tour guide introduced Wang Yangming's life, ideological system and experience of "enlightenment in Longchang" through pictures and storytelling. From the ancient books, cliff carvings and the sites of Wang Yangming's enlightenment collected in the Yangming Cultural Park, we can understand Wang Yangming's determination, his journey to becoming a saint and a sage, and his moral character, as well as the ideological essence of Yangming culture.
"After learning about Mr. Wang Yangming's thoughts, I have a new understanding of Yangming culture. As a Xiuwen militiaman, I feel proud. In my future work and life, I will continue to practice Yangming culture, publicize Yangming culture, and promote Yangming culture." Basic militiaman Meng Guangzhao said firmly.
Through this visit and study activity, the core militiamen have a deeper understanding of Yangming culture and the spiritual connotation of "unity of knowledge and action", and further improved the quality and spiritual realm of the Xiuwen militiamen.
