On August 9, in accordance with the planning and deployment of the seasonal theme activities of the Wudan District New Era Civilization Practice Center, the New Era Civilization Practice Institute of Dongfeng Town, Wudan District, and the Dongfeng Town Armed Forces Department jointly with the Wudan Community carried out the "Warm August, Full of Dongfeng" national defense education publicity and civilization practice activities at Cuihuayuan Square.
At the event, volunteers distributed publicity materials to the public and explained the key points of national defense education, mainly including the importance of national defense, the glorious history of national defense, and the responsibilities and obligations of every citizen in national defense. Several interactive sessions were set up on site, inviting the public to participate in national defense knowledge quizzes, and souvenirs were distributed to those who answered correctly, further deepening their understanding and knowledge of national defense knowledge during the interaction. At the same time, volunteers also shared some touching national defense stories, which deeply touched the audience and gave them a deeper understanding of the hardships and greatness behind the national defense force. More than 300 pieces of publicity materials and more than 50 souvenirs were distributed on site.
Through this civilized practice activity, the masses have gained a new cognition and understanding of national defense, and have truly realized the close connection between national defense construction and themselves, enhancing the masses' awareness of national defense and patriotism and support for the military.
